Well, it’s so very unfortunate of me that something went wrong with my Wi-Fi connection since last Wednesday, which is, right after the day I got my PC back from computer shop.
The computer needed reformatting and reinstalling of Windows because, guess what? It was infected with Trojan Virus (I don’t know why but Trojan always reminds me of condoms) & spywares…

You know, I was trying to download free porn.

After 2 days and countless attempts at reconnecting, I finally called Telekom on Friday and told them I somehow had a problem at connecting onto the internet. So the guy from Telekom said he was gonna send someone to get the job done.

Well, the good thing was Telekom sent a technician over to the house early the next morning, except the technician who came over was the guy who does the area port maintenance (or something like that, whatever) not the technician who configures stuff on your pc and makes sure your computer receives its internet connection on the spot so he didn't much other than checking the modem out and staring blankly into my monitor screen.
A nice guy he was (the technician dude, I mean) though, because he gave me their contractor’s phone number (the person who might be able to solve the problem for me, he said). He then called me up again an hour later and told me to check on my modem from time to time because he did a couple of tweaking at the port (or whatever they call it…). And I did give it a few tries later, turning the modem on and off and on again but the result was still, the same (and frustrating)...

So I decided to let it off until Monday…

But here I am, 1.40AM, Monday 12 March 07, 4 days later (after no access to the internet), out of the blue, probably miracle, the green ‘internet’ led on the modem appeared when I turned it on (out of boredness with a little hope on the side...), finally, I’m able to load a page on my Firefox and now, writing an entry to y’all to tell you about my misadventure.


Relief as I am feeling now at this ungodly hour, I sure hope I don’t need to go through this 'connection problem' again...


Well, he probably had tweaked the right thing, after all...
