Arth AkalLately, dear mom asked me if I could sign up an email account for her. She also expressed her sudden interest in learning the computer and surfing the net.
(We're dealing with someone who has never given a hoot about computers in her life before)
What do I think?
Two words:
Strangle Me!
The worse that could happen is I'll lose some sanity teaching her how to use her email and the
World Wide Web.
Manning a computer?
Take me to the highest sky scrapper so I can jump off it,

Okay, perhaps teaching her how to send emails isn't as bad as it seem...

happens to my mum all the time. she can never stay awake for long when watching TV.
haha, my dad too, he's absolutely treating the sofa as his bed and worse, he sleeps on the remote control.
i think its cool that your mum learn this techy gadgets, my mum doesn't even wanna go near it.

my dad sleeps on the couch too.My mum have several e-mail accounts,she chats on msn,she has facebook and even friendster and now she's considering to get a twitter account @-@ parents...
we didnt wnana teahc mom how to use facebook too, then cuz taught her.
now shes 24/7 on facebook! hahaha

argh.. my mum has a facebook account and questions me about pictures she never uploaded... and its under her profile pic... she was sort of nervous how would could it be that her picture was on the net although she never did attempted to upload any....
i was like, cause someone else uploaded it and tagged you.... expected response..."huh? what is tagging"... ask ur daughter...*run*....
