Hello again, peep!
Today I present to you,
The Blue Peones

The actual theme for these shoes was 'butterfly' (which I loath to death!). In the beginning, I had this brilliant idea on how the shoes would actually turn out but then my client had a change of mind and requested for flower instead-
Peone to be precise.
I hate butterfly so I didn't mind the change.
*big grin*
After much brainstorming, the initial idea is to the flowers spill onto the soles.
To have the peones look as if they're moving about and being carried away by the waves.

Looks pretty good from the sides, no?!
The main choice of color on this project is blue. The design, was inspired by Japanese tattoo design. The flowers are actually blue with a hint of purple and due to Jpeg compression of these images, the purple hue can't be seen here.
I should have pictures taken in RAW next time...

I'm not too sure if the design suits an older woman's taste but I was given the freedom to paint however I want. So I'd decided to stick with my own style/concept.
Frankly, I'd rather do things my way cos it's funner! Heh

Nanyhoos, I wont be taking any more orders until further notice bcos I am a one man army but unfortunately, I have a pair of hands to work with and I paint with one hand only.

A fellow artist told me it would be awesome if I had 6 hands.
And I said, I'd probably end up looking like a giant spider or a walking freakshow.
Y'know, I could be like painting shoes with three hands, two hands on the computer and one feeding me hamburger!
Great!
But no, thanks.
I love having two hands
More customize, hand-painted shoes coming this way
so stay tuned.
Much love
xoxo
